Welcome to Mi'Raj. These terms set out the rules for using the Mi'Raj app and this website. "We" means the Mi'Raj team (Mohammadreza Khalili Shoja and Seyed Vahid Mirnezami, who make Mi'Raj). By installing or using the app, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

1. Using the app

Mi'Raj is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We may change parts of the app, add new features or remove some. Some features need an internet connection or an account, and some may have usage limits (for example a daily limit on questions in "Ask", or a download limit for guests).

2. Your account

• The information you give when creating an account must be accurate.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and your device secure, and for what is done with your account.
• If someone breaks these terms or harms the app, our servers or other users, we may limit their access or suspend their account.
• You can delete your account at any time; the Privacy Policy explains how.

3. What is not allowed

• Using the app for anything unlawful or to harass others;
• Getting around limits, content encryption or the download-key system, or reverse-engineering the app to do so;
• Automatically scraping content from our servers or flooding them with requests;
• Republishing or selling the app's content without its owners' permission.

4. Religious content

The Quran text, translations, tafsirs, duas and ziyarat, recitations and other content in the app come from various sources, and each belongs to its owners. We take care over its accuracy, but it may contain typing, technical or source errors. It is provided "as is"; for anything important, check it against a reliable printed mushaf or the original sources. If you spot a mistake, we'd be glad to hear about it.

6. Prayer times and Qibla

Prayer times are calculated from your location and the calculation method you choose, and may differ by a few minutes from your local mosque's or authority's timetable. The Qibla direction depends on your phone's sensors and may need calibration. Where exact timing matters for worship, check against reliable local sources too.

7. Recitation and hifz practice

Recitation feedback comes from automatic speech recognition and may mark a correct word as wrong or a wrong one as correct. It is a practice aid and does not replace a qualified teacher.

8. Links and other people's content

The app may feature other people's centers, apps and resources, including items labelled "Sponsored". We are not responsible for the content, services or policies of these parties or their websites.

9. Ownership

The design, software, name and logo of Mi'Raj belong to us. Source content (texts, translations, tafsirs, recitations and fonts) belongs to its owners and is included under their permission or licence.

10. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that your data will never be lost. Keep backups of data that matters to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from using or being unable to use the app — including loss of data, or reliance on its content, prayer times or AI answers.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. If these terms are not followed, we may end access to the app or parts of it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and for important changes we will also let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
